2021 - Present
Overview
Every November, Eindhoven transforms into a living gallery of light art. Over the last 15 years, GLOW has evolved from a local gathering of 45,000 to a city-wide phenomenon attracting over 770,000 visitors. It is now a definitive symbol of Eindhoven’s identity as a city of technology and design.
Navigation Design: The Mushroom Path
In the summer of 2021, our multidisciplinary team brainstormed a way to turn simple navigation into an enchanting experience. We developed a path of 80 interactive, illuminated mushrooms across the university campus.
The system functions through a "spore" mechanic: when a visitor interacts with one mushroom, it glows and triggers a chain reaction to its neighbors. This submerged the path in a sea of light, guiding visitors naturally toward the next major installation through play rather than static signage.

Graphic Design & Identity
Beyond the physical installation, I manage the festival’s visual communication. This includes:
- Installation Branding: Designing unique posters for over 30 individual projects annually.
- Marketing Collateral: Creating social media motion graphics and custom iconography.
- Unified Identity: Ensuring a consistent visual language across digital and physical touchpoints.
